Merielle U. Macaraeg de Paz joined Fortra Law in July 2021. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Sociology, along with a minor in Asian American Studies.

As part of the Operations Team, Merielle specializes in optimizing processes and systems that support the firm and its team across the U.S. and internationally. She oversees and supports a broad range of HR and operational functions, including payroll, benefits, employee onboarding, workflow management, and process automation. She works closely with teams across the firm to identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen internal processes, and enhance the overall employee experience. Her process-driven approach enables seamless coordination, reduces operational risk, and enhances both organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

Outside of work, Merielle enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending time with her wife and their two dogs, Puzzle and Enzzo.
